Hilde Heskett: If you save the file as a psd, it will preserve the layers intact. The adjustment layers will not be affected if you paste in new layers to substitute for existing layers, but you will have to change the opacity and do color fills again manually on newly pasted content. If you want to automate the creation of layers and adjustments etc, you would be better using actions in Photoshop to record your steps, so that you can use the same processing on any image at the press of a button....Show more
