Leann Villalta: There never has been a "free market." That is a neoliberal fairytale they use to shove their Laissez-faire economic libertarian utopia down the world's collective throat.
Marcelle Vanlith: The job market is a free market. Didn't you notice?
Clement Viscarro: The problem with government aid is the loss of benefits if a person makes too much money. There are those people who sit on a sure thing and trade their potential to better themselves. LOL
Linwood Mccory: It is a free market. Pay wages go off by their competitors and need for employees. If their competitors started paying more and you are struglling to get employees becuase of it or don't want your employees to leave to go to their competetor then you pay more. The fact is that people will clearly work when wages are too low. That's why we have people working minimual wage. If people are going to work, as in they are employeed but not doing their job correctly becuase they dont' li! ke the pay, then that's their problem. They can either leave to find new work or eventually be fired....Show more
Carmelina Enoch: The only way to do it would be to put every job out for tender every 2 years or so. Somehow I don't think those in work would ever vote for it as they prefer to have an unemployed underclass. The market is over-supplied with workers in most sectors. In state sectors they say they can't recruit workers, but omit to tell you that the real reason is that their budget has run out.
Angel Klym: It is a free market. SMH
Keneth Mailhot: The job market is a free market. Employers can pay any salary they want to, as long as it is AT LEAST meeting minimum wage requirements. The employee is also free to try to negotiate a better salary, or not work where the salary is too low.
Jene Kostyla: Youâre right! Why would anyone actually work for a salary or wage when they can have more spending cash and freedom do do as they please while! on one or more federal or state entitlement programs
Ro! salva Steinmann: Free means "free to choose" not free of costs. People who want to work are free to choose your offer of wages or not. If you don't offer enough, no one will work for you. It you cannot operate your business with higher wage expense, then you go out of business.
